Melodie

Founded by composers, musicians, and sound designers, Melodie is an independent music library featuring tracks from some of the world’s best composers. We were engaged to redesign the Melodie platform, focusing on improving user experience and updating the Melodie brand.

During the initial research phase of the project, we conducted a complete site and brand audit, competitor analysis, and UX workshop with Melodie. This comprehensive assessment provided valuable insights that guided our approach moving forward.

From there, we focused on refining the site navigation, redesigning the site architecture, and iterating/testing the layout of the browse music page—the key page of Melodie’s platform.

The final website balances sleek UI with clear and user-centered experience design, incorporating elements of the previous Melodie site to feel welcoming to their existing customers while introducing exciting new features.

The new Melodie platform has won Acquisition International’s Music Platform of the Year 2024 and Product of the Year at the Nab Show.
